Founded in 1962, America's Blood Centers is North America's largest federation of non-profit, community blood centers. ABC's 76 members operate more than 600 donation sites in 45 states, and the Canadian province of Quebec, and provide nearly than half of the U.S., and nearly one-quarter of Canada's volunteer donor blood supply. These centers serve more than 150 million people and provide blood products and services to more than 3,300 hospitals. ABC members are licensed and regulated by the U.S. Food & Drug Administration. The Marrow Foundation (TMF) was created by the late Admiral E.R. Zumwalt Jr., in 1991 to fund National Marrow Donor Program initiatives that will increase the size and diversity of its National Registry of potential volunteer marrow and blood stem cell donors. The Foundation also assists patients with financial need in the process of searching for a donor match and sponsors research. Learn more about The Marrow Foundation.

The National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP) is a nonprofit organization that facilitates life-saving blood stem cell transplants for patients who do not have a donor in their family. We provide the products and services that bring patients and donors together through life-saving technology. We manage the world's largest registry of volunteer stem cell donors and cord blood units.
